Mick Rock’s Blood and Glitter is the photographer’s eyewitness chronicle of early‑’70s glam, anchored by his era‑defining access to David Bowie’s Ziggy period and extending to Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Queen, Debbie Harry, and more. It features a foreword from Bowie that frames the myth from inside the dressing room. The result reads like a visual oral history—raw, theatrical, and close enough to smell the greasepaint.
This softcover edition (ISBN 9780953747993, sometimes listed as 0953747999), was published in 2001 by Vision On/Omnibus Press. The softcover is no longer in production, it contains the same core images and text on 100 pages as the hardback (and later retitled editions). Our copy has a few minor scratches on the cover and back, but is still in good to very good condition, with an intact spine and sturdy binding. It measures 10 x 12.5 inches (25 x 32 cm).
